Meet the Doctor

Dr. Allison Adams was born and raised in Southern California.  She received her B.S. degree in Human Biology from Cleveland Chiropractic College, Kansas City.  Dr. Allison continued her education and went on to earn a Doctorate of Chiropractic degree from Los Angeles Chiropractic College (Southern California University of Health Sciences) where she graduated on the dean’s list. Throughout graduate school she served on many executive boards for student body clubs, attended multiple seminars nationwide, volunteered at the Venice Family Clinic in Santa Monica, and interned at CSUN's Student Health Center and Sports Medicine Clinic where she was trained in treating Division 1 athletes with various injuries. Dr. Allison is certified in many techniques and continues her education in pursuing more certifications to benefit her community.  She has also served on mission trips with the most recent traveling to Lima, Peru and adjusting over 500 poverty stricken people.  “Being able to treat patients 4 months to 91 years old was a life changing experience that I will never forget.”

At a young age Dr. Allison became involved in numerous athletic activities including Softball, Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, and Dance. She first discovered Chiropractic at the age of 12 following a basketball injury. With the aid of chiropractic treatment, she was able to continue to excel in sports through her high school career. Then at 18 years old she developed migraines on a daily basis for a year.  Visiting one medical doctor after another and trying numerous medications, she still suffered.  About to give up on the hope of ever being pain free, she decided to return to a Chiropractor for treatment.  Under regular Chiropractic care for 6 months Dr. Allison finally got the relief she had been searching for and through the chiropractic adjustment, Dr. Allison was migraine free for the first time in 2 years. It was from that point on that her life was transformed and she knew she had to be involved in this health care field.

Dr. Allison has always loved working with children and for 8 years she coached both boys and girls from ages 8-14.  She has always dedicated herself to creating a positive experience for children. Dr. Allison received certification in The Webster Technique, a chiropractic technique specific for pregnant women.  She has also trained to treat children with neuro-developmental concerns such as Autism, ADHD, Epilepsy, Sensory Processing Disorder, and more.

Dr. Allison enjoys helping families feel better and live better by focusing on a healthy nervous system.
